Happy Kids in 10 Minutes a Day:
The Generosity Circle Game

All you need for this game is: a hat, index cards, and markers.
Ask all the kids to sit in a circle and ask each of them to write on a note, anonymously, something good he or she did yesterday.
It could be anything from…I helped mom hang out the laundry, to…I gave an elderly man my seat on the bus. Anything goes.

Each kid folds the note and puts it into the hat.
The first volunteer takes out one of the notes from the hat, reads the good deed aloud, and the others try to guess who did it.
Here are some examples the kids wrote:

Whoever did it is the next kid to take a new note out of the hat, and so on, until all the good deeds are finished.
Of course, the note taken out of the hat isn’t returned to the hat but is put aside.
Another volunteer takes all the notes, sticks them on poster board, and writes at the top Our Good Deeds.
You are invited to document your Good Deeds wall, and repeat this game again and again, because it’s just wonderful and never boring…
Good Luck!
