Suggested Answers:

Pessimistic Children:

Before an exam: There's no way I will pass the exam…
When they fail: I always fail, I'm never going to pass…
When they succeed: I lucked out, I don't know how…
When a friend insults them: He/She always picks on me…

Optimistic Children:

Before an exam: I am smart and I'll do well.
When they fail: Never mind, I wasn’t concentrating,
next time I will be more focused.
When they succeed: I cope well with pressure and succeed.
When a friend insults them: He's/She's like that sometimes.
If it carries on, I'll tell him/her that it offends me.

Conclusion:

We can help our students and children change their way of thought by changing the way they speak!
We can help them change their negative thoughts into positive thoughts, by changing their sentences!
Our thinking is like any other muscle in our body.
We can learn to control it, and teach our children how to do that, so that they will be able to steer their thoughts away from negative self-talk: I 'm stupid, I'm a failure/ I'm nothing/I'm ugly, to positive self-talk: I can succeed/I'm smart/I’m look good/I'm accepted.
