Step 2: Group Work
Creative Thinking, Brainstorming, and Developing a Range of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Products and Activities:
Dear Students,
Following what you have learned, please divide into groups, brainstorm together, and present in whatever way you see fit:
An example of someone experiencing something very stressful, and how to handle it.
Or:
The comprehensive guide to the things that are most stressful to students in our class, and how to handle them.
Or:
Games for calming down when we feel stressed.
Or:
A game or activity to identify causes of stress.
Your presentation should be 5-10 minutes long, and can use:
an inspiring story, a video clip, a game, a PowerPoint presentation,
a song, a play, artwork, etc., whatever you can imagine, whatever you choose.
Step 3: Presenting the Products in the Classroom
After you have the session products, you are invited to present them to the class and/or the school. Good luck, and have fun!
